I was born in Japan and moved to Italy from a young age, but I always practiced Japanese at home and regularly went to Japan for summer study programs.
During my undergraduate studies in France, I started teaching part-time Japanese and Italian.

Last year, I had the chance to work as a teacher again, together with some translation and interpreting services in Japan.
I am very passionate about helping people with language learning processes and sharing with my students my knowledge of my two cultures!

That's why I believe that language classes should follow the student's personality, interests, and objectives :) I am also prepared to assist for official language tests.

When teaching, my main interest is always "how can I help you more"!

My name is Patricia. I'm a certified native Spanish teacher. I've been teaching Spanish and English as foreign languages since 2004, and I've fallen in love with my job a little more every year :)

I studied Spanish Philology and Literature and learned how to become a teacher at Universidad Nacional de Salta, Argentina. I've also completed a specific ELE training certification from Universidad Europea Madrid, and I'm certified as DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes.

I am a Vietnamese native (born and raised in Hanoi) who has lived in the UK for 2 years, and now in my 8th year living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am currently working full-time at an international Dutch company and tutoring Vietnamese is my favorite hobby!

This class will introduce you to various aspects of the Vietnamese alphabet, grammar, and spelling. I will also provide speaking practice at the end of every class. This class is designed for those of you who are interested in the Vietnamese language, as well as Vietnamese culture.

New vocabulary for each topic will be discussed. My study background is in Mathematics and Statistics, thus with the combination of languages you can expect 'a bit' of reasoning logic behind all lessons I give (which I think gives some structure to the lessons as well)!

In this course we will begin with an intake interview in which I assess your level and discuss your needs. Following this, I will develop a course to meet your aims.

Everybody's wishes are different. You may want to develop your fluency, broaden your vocabulary, or work on your grammar. Or perhaps you would like to improve your pronunciation or writing skills. It could be a combination of these.

As a highly qualified and vastly experienced teacher I have the necessary skills to be able to draw up a course and find the appropriate resources to aid your progress.

During the course you will get the practice, feedback and guidance needed to improve your English level. At the end of each lesson I will give you homework so that you can continue your practice between sessions and at the beginning of the next lesson I will check your homework with you to make sure you are keeping on track!

That is why it is very important nowadays to be able to speak and listen well in English. You really can't start studying English early enough.
