In this class, I (Aarav) will be able to enhance a student's ability and confidence in Spanish. Having started Spanish from scratch and now studying it at University, I can relate to the problems that students are having and be able to point students in the right direction, using effective learning techniques and engaging memory strategies to improve the student's language skills. As an approachable and experienced tutor, I am able to offer help with all aspects of the course - listening, reading, writing and speaking and whatever else a student might require from me. For my A-Level Spanish, I studied La Casa de Bernada Alba as my book and Volver as my film and thus have a wide breadth of knowledge on both of these. I achieved an A* in Spanish A-level and averaged 38 out of 40 in the essays, and over 90% in Paper 1 and the speaking, thus I am confident that I will be able to help with all aspects of the course.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.
