من أنا؟

Hello future student! I'm Marina, I'm from Catalunya, in the North of Spain -close to Barcelona- and I'm currently living in the UK! I studied Philosophy and then I did my Teaching Training Master's Degree, so I'm a Qualified Teacher :)

I'm focus my career as much as possible in the education field and I'd like to teach Spanish in England, because I think it's a really different language and, definetely, a very different culture that I'm sure you'd love if you have the opportunity to visit it!

Due to my birth-place, I speak another language, Catalan, and I'm open to teach it to you as well, it will be funny!

I always try to make my lessons as dynamic as possible, because I know how much can you hate a subject if you don't have a good teacher or if you simply have a boring one! I do really enjoying preparing my own material and make the most of every lesson, so don't hesitate to contact me to ask me any questions and let me know what are you looking for! I did my school placement in a Secondary School, where I had to develop my own unit. I planned, I prepared, I taught it and I marked it as well. I had a really good experience and I can't wait to start my career in Education.

I have worked as a private tutor for 2 years with an A-levels student, helpim him to prepare his exams to entry to the university. He got a 10/10 in Philosophy!!!!

I helped some mates in the university with Logic's subject -the went from a failed to a 8/10, so not bad at all!

I specialise in tutoring English, Maths and Science for different schools around West Yorkshire area. My goal is to keep students challenged, and not overwhelmed. I assign homework for each student after every lesson and provide them a progress report end of each month to see how far they have come.

This class that I am going to be tutoring is specifically teaching ENGLISH LANGUAGE to students. The focus is how you learn this subject and to pass your upcoming exams. You'll learn a variety of different topics and I will allow the space and time in which you can focus which enhances your cognitive skills.

I teach children from 7 years old to adults 65+.
