When I was in early grades of school, I dreaded mathematics and it was the only subject where I didn't use to get a good score. However, a new teacher in 7th grade changed the meaning of mathematics for me and since then I have just loved doing math and have top scores in both national (JEE, NDA) and international (GRE) exams. With years of experience in making math simple for everyone, I specialize who fear math but are willing to change that (Willingness is important, I am sorry I can't help). Further, my contention is that one shouldn't need to memorize formulas for doing math; students tend to forget because they learn different math topics in isolation of each other, however, it's important to make a loop/connection between different topics and then not only you will find math easy but also enjoyable.
