With over three years of tutoring and 9 years teaching experience, I have supported students in 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th–13th grade in a broad range of Biology/Environmental studies and English topics through one-to-one instruction. I have also prepared and delivered lectures in classroom environments at undergraduate and MSc level, as well as supervised thesis work. I offer personalized Biology/Ecology tutoring for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. I can help with homework, exam preparation, and revision of class material, always adapting lessons to the student’s individual needs and learning style. Adapted to the skills, experiences and needs of the participants, we dedicate our teaching time to topics such as: Body awareness, freedom of movement, adaptability in the context of movement, balance, fitness, strength, mobility, dealing with change, injury and health. My approach is characterized by: Years as a professional stage dancer (contemporary dance), Fighting Monkey Practice (Jozef Frucek & Linda Kapetanea), Evolve, Move, Play (Rafe Kelley), parkour, contact improvisation, strength and flexibility training, climbing, martial arts and Qi Gong. In groups we work a lot with playful movement scenarios, partners and tasks in which we challenge our bodies to learn and grow through other people and their input. Depending on the setting, we also work on different physical/mental skills and qualities, using approaches from dance, Qi Gong, natural movement and strength training. The framework and form of teaching can always be adapted to the individual or group and specialized to meet their needs. There are no restrictions in terms of age or level. And I can teach you by doing the classes in English, Dutch or Catalan and I will also use the way that you find most comfortable to learn the language. I can also try to use German, but it is preferable that I teach in other languages. My price is so cheap because I'm not interested in money, but in teaching, because knowledge is power.
