Online English as a Second Language classes are suitable for individuals who could hardly have time to attend the traditional classes due to their hectic schedules. This is a practical avenue for learners during this not so usual time, the pandemic.

Each lesson is prepared by the teacher, customized to the needs and preferences of each learner, using the learner-centered approach. The material is sent to the learner beforehand to give him time to prepare. During the lesson, the learner is expected to make discussions as part of his speaking practice. The teacher may take down notes of his mistakes, to be sent to him after the session, together with the corrections and suggestions. Corrections include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc.

I have taught English to speakers of other languages for more than 15 years now. I used to live in cities far away from home to go to school and work but I am now back in my home city where I live. I used to teach in a government high school but decided to focus on online teaching to maintain work-and-life balance. It was a couple of years after receiving my license to teach as a professional teacher and starting my teaching career when I got a TEFL certificate. I hold a degree in Secondary Education, major in Biology.
