Improve Your Academic Writing Confidence and Skills Today!

I have been an academic English writing coach since 2010 and I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and linguistics in 2012. Since then, I have been an English Teacher for many ages including adults. I help students improve their writing and grades on academic assignments. In our class, you will bring a writing assignment or project that you will submit or have already received feedback on, and we'll look at it together to see how it can be improved.

My classes are customized to each student's needs. I help students understand what makes a piece of writing strong or weak. I teach my students how to assess their writing so they can submit their projects with confidence.

I'm a very patient and kind teacher. I don't believe in shaming or pushing people around who are trying to learn something new. I like helping students improve their writing because writing gives us the chance to express our thoughts very clearly. Unlike with speaking, you can adjust and rearrange your written words until they are just how you want them to be. For most people learning to write is uncomfortable and unnatural even in our native language. Unlike speaking and listening, reading and writing have to be taught and are not acquired effortlessly. So if you feel uncomfortable with writing, there's nothing wrong with you, it's totally normal.

In 2013 I earned my Certificate for Teaching English as a Second Language for Adults from Cambridge University. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for many different ages since 2013.
