I am a foreign languages teacher: English and Spanish. I got my degree two years ago from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional in Colombia.
I have five years of experience in teaching. I've worked with different kinds of population, children, teenagers and adults.

I can help the student improve their language skills: grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing. My lessons are most of all communicative in which the focus are the production skills, speaking and writing.

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results.

My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat.

Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level.

This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end.

Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.

Spaans is de tweede wereldtaal en daarom een ontzettend nuttige taal om te spreken!
Daarnaast is Spaans ook een erg mooie taal om naar te luisteren en vooral populair omdat deze taal ook relatief makkelijk is om te leren. In het Spaans worden namelijk dezelfde letters gebruikt als in het Nederlands en je spreekt de woorden voornamelijk uit op de manier waarop je ze schrijft. (Uiteraard met een mooi Spaans accent haha, maar die zal ik je aanleren!)

Talen zijn mijn passie!
Zelf heb ik Spaans gestudeerd in Málaga (Andalusië) en hier ook een officieel DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) certificaat behaald.

Ik help anderen graag om met plezier Spaans te leren!

Na mijn lessen/cursus Spaans voor beginners van 3 maanden (gemiddeld 2 bloklessen en 10 zelfstudie-uren per week), heb je A1 niveau van het Europees referentiekader bereikt en kun je je in alledaagse situaties redden in het Spaans.

My name is Mohamed from Syria, and I hold a degree in Business Administration. My journey with the English language began with a deep passion for learning it.
