Songwriting - My approach to songwriting is this - anyone can write a song! My goal is to show you some simple, fun, practical and effective methods of how you can write a song (you don't even need to be able to play an instrument!). Once you finish your song, you'll also have the opportunity to record it if you desire to do so (these lessons can tie in very well with the music production lessons). We will cover topics such as: Lyrics Chords Melody Structure Co-writing Music production - After the initial stages of writing the song, you'll learn how to record it and turn it into a sonically awesome sounding piece of music. We'll cover topics such as: Recording Editing Mixing Mastering MIDI Programming (drums and synthesized sounds) Effects Dynamics Equalisation Genres/Styles: Rock and pop Acoustic/singer-songwriter Orchestral Gospel Soundtrack/instrumental Releasing your music - After developing your song to an excellent standard, you'll then have an opportunity to learn how to share it with the world on iTunes, Spotify and other digital music stores.
