I have tutored in sciences and maths for the past couple of years and have a strong passion for Chemistry. I have recently graduated from the University of Kent with a first class degree in Chemistry and am now working in the field of science. The tutoring began with a small group set up through my secondary school and then progressed to me seeing students outside of school. One of these students has now increased by three grades in maths!! I am confident in tutoring all areas of Chemistry, Biology and Maths at GCSE level and will progressively work through the course which can be tailored to students needs. I personally find the best way to learn is a combination between consolidating knowledge and then furthering that knowledge through past papers and analysis of mark schemes. The understanding of what the examiners are looking for is crucial in order to achieve high marks and sometimes students can move up grades with no extra knowledge and purely through the understanding of exam techniques. The goal is to help students enjoy learning and feel supported in crucial years of their life. Optional homework tasks can be given along with progress reports
