Let me introduce you to the many aspects of this captivating game. You will get insights into general principles, opening strategies, patterns to follow, idea creation during middle games, what tactics to look out for, and end game courses. You will have the opportunity to direct the lessons and decide which parts of the game you would like to have a closer look at.

I have didactic experience from working as a tutor in mathematics. Lessons will be available in either English or (Swiss)german.

My name is Cedric, and I have studied Molecular Health Sciences at ETH Zurich.
I currently work as a Research Assistant in Translational Molecular Psychiatry.

I would describe myself as a very flexible, spontaneous, and open-minded person. I love to get to know and connect with new people. I like to spend my free time with friends, sports, going out, or studying/playing chess.

Mein Name ist Cedric und ich habe Molekulare Gesundheitswissenschaften an der ETH Zürich studiert. Zurzeit arbeite ich als wissenschaftlicher Assistent in der translationalen molekularen Psychiatrie.

Ich würde mich selbst als sehr flexibel, spontan und aufgeschlossen beschreiben. Ich liebe es, neue Menschen kennenzulernen und Kontakte zu knüpfen. In meiner Freizeit verbringe ich gerne Zeit mit Freunden, mache Sport, gehe aus oder lerne/spiele Schach.

I am a 22 year old Swiss/Belgian student currently holding a bachelor of Business Administration. I am offering chess classes for beginners diving in details of the rules of the game, as well as the different strategies and tactics that come with it.

I have been playing chess for the past 4 years both online and in person, attending multiple club events in both Belgium and Switzerland.

I believe chess is a wonderful game to learn providing skills such as resilience, patience and critical and forward thinking. All of which can translate to valuable skills with real world applications.
