Voor mij gaat vioolles om meer dan alleen het leren van noten – het gaat om het uitdrukken van je innerlijke wereld door middel van muziek.

Mijn naam is Ann, ik ben een Finse violiste en gepassioneerde docente, en ik woon in Charlois bij Rotterdam. Ik begeleid met veel plezier leerlingen van alle leeftijden — zowel beginners als gevorderden — op hun weg naar zelfverzekerd en expressief musiceren.

Wat kunt u verwachten?

Mijn lesaanpak is vriendelijk, motiverend en gericht op het opbouwen van een stevige muzikale basis. Of u nu voor het eerst viool wilt leren spelen of uw bestaande vaardigheden verder wilt ontwikkelen — ik stem elke les individueel af op uw doelen, interesses, leertempo en persoonlijkheid.
Ik geef les in het Engels, Duits en Fins. Daarnaast spreek ik een beetje Spaans, Zweeds en Nederlands.

Proefles

Een proefles biedt een ontspannen gelegenheid om kennis te maken, het instrument uit te proberen en te praten over uw doelen, favoriete muziek en praktische zaken zoals planning en locatie. Heeft u nog geen viool? Geen probleem — tijdens de proefles kunt u een van mijn violen lenen. Ik help u ook graag bij het kiezen of huren van een geschikt instrument.

Klassieke muziek, tango en andere muziekstijlen

Naast klassieke muziek heb ik mij gespecialiseerd in Argentijnse tango. Daarnaast heb ik ruime ervaring met het spelen en lesgeven in andere stijlen, zoals hedendaagse muziek, Latijns-Amerikaanse muziek, volksmuziek en pop.

Mijn achtergrond

Ik behaalde mijn Master of Music aan het Codarts Conservatorium in Rotterdam. Eerdere studies volgde ik in Oulu, Helsinki en Porvoo (Finland). Naast mijn lespraktijk treed ik regelmatig op door heel Europa en werk ik samen met symfonieorkesten en kamermuziekensembles.

Welcome to violin lessons in Rotterdam South! Hello, and thank you for your interest in my violin lessons! I'm Ann from Finland, a passionate violinist and dedicated teacher who loves sharing the joy of music with both beginning and advanced students.

Education

I hold a Master of Music from Codarts University, Rotterdam. Additionally I have studied violin in the conservatories of Oulu, Helsinki and Porvoo in Finland.

Ich bin ein junger, dynamischer und qualifizierter Lehrer (Master in Musikpädagogik und Master in Performance), der Folgendes gibt:
Geigenunterricht für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene, Erwachsene und Kinder ab 4 Jahren.

Ich liebe es zu spielen und mein Instrument zu unterrichten. Ich spiele in verschiedenen Orchestern, klassischer Kammermusik und improvisiere in zeitgenössischer Musik mit Körperbewegung. Ich habe beim Spielen viel an der Körperhaltung gearbeitet, was meiner Meinung nach sehr wichtig ist, um Verspannungen in den Muskeln zu lösen und mich mit dem Instrument freier zu fühlen.

I graduated 2 years ago at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and I offer both violin and viola lessons to all ages and levels in The Hague and surroundings.
I am originally Spanish but I can teach in English and French as well.
I can teach at home or at any other different location.

The ability to improvise is not a natural skill that we are born with.
It is an understandable chain of tools that can be learned and practiced into performance. Improvisation is something that requires discipline as much as freedom, and in fact, it stems from the understanding of sounds, the music's natural grammar.

Violin is mostly seen as a melodic instrument but it can be otherwise. Outside of the classical world, rhythm reigns and the violin can be a leading rhythmical instrument too, providing solid grooves and accompaniments or challenging your fellow musicians with percussive sounds.

Furthermore, to be proficient in specific styles, it is not enough to just play scales and patterns but it is necessary to learn the colors of the proper harmonical framework which is part of an idiom.

In 10 years of teaching, I developed an approach that rethinks the function of fingerboard visualization allowing you to transpose in any key with great facility and to understand the logic behind the shapes of any chord on the fingerboard.

In these lessons, I will help you to rethink the violin out of the box, as a powerful rhythmical and harmonical instrument while deepening your melodic ability (soloing) related to the styles you want to play: Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Pop, Rock, Brazilian, World Music. [According to the style we will also be working with loops and effects]

This class is designed for musicians who already know the basics of violin techniques but addresses both beginner and advanced players in relation to the field of improvised music.

The lessons will be custom made for each student. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player I will work to adapt to your learning rhythm while keeping you challenged at the same time. You will receive regular feedback, advice, and guidance and materials.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces.

Hello everyone, my name is Bardia an experienced and enthusiastic violin teacher in Rotterdam.
The key words for my teaching are fun and personal development.
What matters the most to me is to have students feeling at ease with my teaching and feeling motivated after a lesson. This is why we will be playing lots of pieces together in duos, trying to develop complicity at your own pace, no rush ever.
Last but not least, I also want to train and instruct students to reach a high mental level so as to express themselves free from constraints and stresses.

Through a personalized method, tailored to your needs and wishes, we will cover together all sorts of repertoire, ranging from Baroque and Classical Music to more modern styles like Pop.

I have 9 years of experience with the Jaén Youth Orchestra, where I have performed in France, Slovenia, Italy and Spain. I have also had the opportunity to attend numerous in-person classes with violinists such as Mario Navas Fernández, Elvira López Sobaler, Juan Carlos Navarro, and Sarai Pintado.
At the moment I’m part of the Krashna Musika orchestra in Delft.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti.
I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.
