On Sept 1st 2024 three awarded students of mine were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Centre of Music in Manhattan, from another American competition, the International Youth Music Competition.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material.

The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts.

My name is Fabiola, and I am a violin and viola teacher and children’s orchestra conductor based in Maastricht. I work with students of all ages, creating a supportive, creative, and personalized learning environment where each student can grow at their own pace and enjoy making music.

As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE).
