INSIGHTS: My professional training (PhD) is about generating new insights in physics and mathematics. I can assist in gathering a long-lasting understanding of the core idea of any topic. I find immense joy in teaching fundamental concepts.

EXAMINATIONS: Anybody is capable of learning any topic given sufficient resources, but presenting correct answers under the time pressure of an examination is a distinct skill which needs to be learnt. Having taught advanced masters courses during my PhD, as well as large classes during my senior year of bachelor's studies, I can help build those skills in a streamlined manner.

I have lived in many different countries during my studies and career, so as long as we can communicate in basic English, language or educational background will not be a barrier. After all, math and physics are the languages of the universe!

Über mich

I live in Germany with my wife. I received my PhD in Photonics from EPFL, Switzerland. I also do independent research in mathematics out of passion. I have worked and studied in Switzerland, Netherlands, London and Mumbai.

I find immense joy in teaching fundamental concepts. My teaching philosophy is that you will always leave my class with a new insight. I do not expect my students to remember more than 10 % of all the information from a single class, but I make sure that they remember that 10 % for life.

Hallo, ich bin Max, 20 Jahre und komme aus Wendlingen. Seit 2016 gebe ich Nachhilfe und habe insgesamt schon mehr als 300 Stunden unterrichtet. Im Jahr 2019 habe ich erfolgreich mein Abitur mit einem Schnitt von 1,8 bestanden und möchte mein Wissen weiterhin weitergeben.

Vorteil: Da meine Schulzeit nicht wie bei manch anderer Nachhilfelehrern schon einige Jahre oder sogar Jahrzehnte her ist, kann ich mich sehr gut in die Schüler hineinversetzen und ich versuche die mathematischen Probleme ohne komplizierte Fachwörter, sondern mit möglichst simplen Begriffen zu erklären um möglichst schnell Erfolge zu erzielen.

It will be fun filled learning process and we will focus on the basics to make strong base with logical thinking. Maths will include the understanding of formulas and solutions. English will include the grammar, sentence making, direct indirect speech and punctuation.

Mathematics. The school subject that is usually most hated by the students. I was one of them, too, until I got tutoring. My grades changed dramatically to positive results and I really enjoyed solving tasks and that with success! With me you will learn how the respective subject areas work, how to learn best and how to find fun in learning again, because mathematics is a game. You just have to understand it.

Math is the key to so many doors in your school career. If things don't go that way, it's usually not your fault: Math books are often out of date, written strangely, or make tasks unnecessarily complicated.
As a result of my studies in traffic engineering at the University of Stuttgart, I am familiar with the fields of mathematics and physics and would like to convey my knowledge to you, as well as some tips and tricks.
I will help you analyze your tasks, understand them and solve them faster - because the better it slips, the more fun it is.
