Hey there!

I am Xanthippi, a Greek M.Sc. student at Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
I have a B.Sc. in Biology, earned by National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My Bachelor's studies covered a wide range of fields of this fascinating science. More specifically, I learned about Plant and Animal Physiology, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, Evolution, Molecular Biology and many others. This way, thoughout those years, I acquired a well-rounded picture of Biology.
After my studies in Athens, I wanted to find a way to apply my knowledge and produce tangible results. This is why I have freshly started a master's programme in Bioentrepreneurship, in Copenhagen.
Furthemore, it is the right time for me to start sharing my knowledge with other people who want to explore the field of Biology or delve a little bit deeper into it.
Through my experience as a Science Communicator, in Athens Science Festival and Researcher's Night, I discovered my love to communicate scientific topics with others!
I also confirmed my belief that the best way to convey a complex concept is through visual aids and real-life examples. Thus, these are the teaching techniques I will integrade into my classes.
Finally, I believe that, as with any human interaction, teaching should be carried out with the active contribution and active listening of both the instructor and the student.
I can't wait to meet my next eager-to-learn student.

Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Charlotte et je donne des cours particuliers depuis 2014. J’ai commencé pendant mes études, un peu naturellement : j’ai toujours eu des facilités en sciences, et on me disait souvent que j’expliquais les choses de façon claire et patiente. J’ai donc eu envie d’aider ceux pour qui ces matières semblaient plus compliquées.
Aujourd’hui, je suis diplômée en chimie, avec une orientation en biotechnologies, et j’ai obtenu mon diplôme avec la plus grande distinction. Ce que j’aime par-dessus tout, c’est voir mes élèves progresser, reprendre confiance en eux, et parfois même se surprendre à aimer les sciences !

Biomedical sciences such as biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, and immunology are required for different types of university studies such as medicine, pharmacy, and allied health professions.
These are courses that are at the heart of my academic and professional career. I have a doctorate in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences and I am currently a professor at the Léonard de Vinci high school in Brussels.

Je suis Professeur Universitaire de longue expérience, qui présente des cours et travaux dirigés qui sont dédiés, aux élèves, aux étudiants préparant leurs diplômes (licences, Masters, ingénieur, médecine, infirmeries...) et seront en mesure de les réinvestir pour résoudre des problèmes scientifiques.
En Biochimie : Les étudiants s’approprient les savoirs et savoir-faire relatif aux constituants organiques (Glucides, Lipides, Acides Nucléiques...), à l’enzymologie, à la bioénergétique et au métabolisme cellulaire.

Do you have a second session, do you want to advance or deepen your knowledge? I teach mainly during the summer holidays. My classes are aimed at students in primary school, humanities, or bachelor's degrees at university/college. I have been giving private lessons for several years and have been a university tutor. The class begins by setting the student's expectations: do they want help solving exercises, is there a problem understanding?
