I teach acoustic guitar and singing for people who want to perform as soloists — whether that’s for intimate gigs, ceremonies, songwriting, or simply to feel confident playing and singing at the same time. My approach is practical, musical, and grounded in real performance. We focus on: • accompanying yourself on guitar in a way that supports your voice • finding keys and arrangements that actually suit you • rhythm, dynamics, and groove (even with just one guitar) • building confidence to sing freely while playing • stripping songs back to their emotional core Lessons are tailored to where you’re at — beginners are welcome, as are singers who already perform but want stronger guitar skills, or guitarists who want to feel more at home with their voice. This isn’t about perfection or flashy technique. It’s about connection, feel, and learning how to hold a room with just a guitar and your voice. We can focus on simply singing or guitar as well, if you like.
