Je suis en formation à la HEP Lausanne pour l’enseignement au degré secondaire 2. Je suis très flexible, et apte à m’adapter à vos besoins. Je tenterai de vous expliquer au mieux et d’une manière amusante et ludique les sciences naturelles pour les étudiants du cycle, ou la biologie pour les étudiants du gymnase ou collège. Je suis également de langue maternelle anglaise, les cours peuvent donc être suivis en anglais si besoin.

Je suis mère de trois adolescents, et j’ai fait mes études en Irlande à UCD en 2004, à university college Dublin, et obtenu un bachelor en Sciences, joint honors, de 4 ans en Pharmacologie et génétique. J’ai ensuite obtenu un Master à Lausanne en Biologie expérimentale et génomique.

J’ai ensuite pris une pause dans ma carrière pour avoir une famille et je suis maintenant en train de me reconvertir dans l’enseignement.
J’ai déjà commencé mes études à la HEP Lausanne ce semestre pour la didactique de Biologie dans l’enseignement au degré secondaire 2.

The Art of Naming in Anatomy: Decoding Anatomy for Medical Students

I teach anatomy through a terminology-based approach that helps medical students decode the logic behind anatomical names instead of memorizing everything as disconnected facts. My method treats anatomy as a language, where names often reflect structure, location, attachments, function, shape, direction, size, or relationship to surrounding anatomy.

This approach is especially helpful for students who feel overwhelmed by anatomy and struggle with retention. By learning how to break down anatomical terms into meaningful parts, students can organize information more effectively, improve recall, and reduce confusion when studying large volumes of material.

My focus is practical and student-centered. I help students build a strong exam-oriented foundation by prioritizing high-yield memorization strategies first, while gradually strengthening understanding over time. I also guide students on how to approach practice questions in a way that reinforces anatomical memory and improves long-term retention.

The goal is not only to memorize anatomy for an exam, but to develop a reliable way of reading, interpreting, and learning anatomy with confidence.
