Introduction to thermodynamics covering all main branches

When studying thermodynamics we study how different types of energy and how are they transferred. This is essential for mechanical engineering students. By understanding this concept, the base fundamentals will be implemented for the thermal track in mechanical engineering. Main focus will be:
1) Properties of pure substances and thermodynamic systems
2) Energy analysis of closed systems
3) Mass and energy analysis of control volumes (open systems)
4) Second law of thermodynamics
5) Introduction to entropy
6) Simple gas power cycles
7) Basic Refrigeration cycles
8) Introduction to psychometric analysis

These topics will be covered in an easy way with extra noted and questions will be left for the end of each lecture.

The lessons run as follows. First, we look together for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary.
