- use the traditional grammar-translation method
- read something in Greek or Latin that you're interested in together
- practice having a conversation in Greek or Latin
- go over questions that came up during a course you're taking.

Vivo en la comunidad multicultural de Monteverde, Costa Rica. Estudié filología clásica por trece años en los Estados Unidos. Después de algunos cambios en mis prioridades personales, me interesó menos hacer investigación académica, pero sigo con una pasión para los idiomas y para ayudar a que la gente los aprenda.

I live in the multicultural community of Monteverde, Costa Rica. I studied Classics for thirteen years in the United States. After some changes in my personal priorities, I became less interested in doing academic research, but I still have the same passion for languages and helping people learn them.

- conversational practice
- reading something in English on a topic that interests you
- traditional lessons
- resolution of doubts that arise in a course

I don't think formal grammar is absolutely necessary to learn a language, but I do have training in it, so if you have grammar questions, I'm prepared. I know that all languages are difficult to learn, and English is a little more difficult than expected. Every question is a legitimate question!

Latin is a rather subtle language and for some, almost enigmatic, as the style, vocabulary and syntax can be confusing. However, all it takes is a little "Ariadne's thread" to find your way through this labyrinth for the uninitiated. Don't panic! A practical method exists that will put you at ease when faced with any Latin challenge. The delicate syntax of this language will no longer be a torture for you and you might even find it fun to practice reading and understanding texts that previously seemed inaccessible or even hermetic to you. Reading, analyzing, understanding, and translating a Latin text is possible. And even - why not? - writing in Latin.
As an experienced teacher, I offer you supervision (online or at home) taking into account the learner's level and adopting the most appropriate method for adequate monitoring. Online, the sessions will be recorded, if the listener wishes, and the video will be available for revision. You will have the rigor that this ancient language requires, today more current than ever. Declension, conjugation, syntax will always be a passion for you, by following the method that we propose to improve your level. You will soon translate texts from Latin to French (version) and from French to Latin (theme) in a simple and effective way.
If you are an intermediate (non-exam) student, looking to upgrade and fill the gaps that could potentially hinder you in the exam class, you will find the skills and experience competition to be sure to meet the challenge.
