I am a native Portuguese speaker currently living in the Netherlands (Rotterdam).

I worked as a lawyer in Portugal before moving to the Netherlands, where I have now been living for some years and working as a translator and linguistic specialist.

As every other Portuguese person, I am passionate about sharing what my country has to offer :)

Education

- Bachelor and Masters in Public Law (Universidade Nova de Lisboa)
- Working with Translation: Theory and Practise (Cardiff University MOOC)
- Proficient with English, French and Spanish

Expérience / Qualifications

- Worked for 2 years for SDL (Amsterdam) as a Linguistic Tester, ensuring localization, review, and quality control of content for a world-leading provider of online TV streaming services.
- Worked as an in-house and freelance translator for several worldwide companies
- Volunteer Experience at Biblioteca Infantil de Roterdão (non-profit children's and youth library of books in Portuguese)

I am a native Portuguese and I worked in Portugal in Secondary schools for 25 years. I taught Portuguese for adults in UK for 8 years and in Dublin for 2 years.. In Holland, I teach Portuguese in International School of Amsterdam and in Guus Kieft School

Both Brazilian and European Portuguese. We will start with the basic grammar of the Portuguese language. Depending on the pace and experience of the student, conversation will gradually take place in Portuguese. You will receive useful and practical tips to make learning the language even more fun.
