Mijn specialiteiten zijn wereldoorlog 1, de 80-jarige oorlog, de middeleeuwen en ook de oudheid oh ja ons verleden in onze koloniën, misschien wel beladen MAAR wel onze historie.

I am currently a third year student in pre-med at Erasmus University College, and a second year in mechanical engineering at TU Delft. I am proficient in teaching in English and can explain stuff in Dutch, but at a slightly slower pace as it is my second language. I can essentially tutor all STEM subjects with a week's notice due to my coursework in almost all field but here is a list I am most comfortable with: Mathematics, Physics, Biology (not plant biology), Chemistry, Computer science (Matlab and Python), principles of engineering design (including SolidWorks) and Economics. My previous experience with teaching is both at a university level as an education and research assistant for Behavioural Economics, and as a part-time high school teacher for biology and Mathematics.
In my free time, I like to play tennis and grab a drink with my friends – I am extremely compassionate, but I value my time and hope that you can match my enthusiasm in class. I did the IB program in high school and scored a 42.

In class, we will cover all subjects related to biology and medicine that the student wants and considers important. This is of course often about the material that is tested at school, but if there is a need for my knowledge in the medical/medical field, I can also put together challenging lessons for that. For example, if there are students who feel attracted by the study of medicine, I can help them discover whether it is something for them through the lessons and help them further on their way.

Helaas een aantal onvoldoendes gehaald waardoor je gemiddelde is gezakt? Dat kan gebeuren, maar fijn is het niet.. Tijd om het op te halen!

Als student (20) biologie HBO en docent op het VO geef ik al lange tijd (bij)les aan verschillende doelgroepen binnen het voortgezet onderwijs. Door mijn ervaring in het onderwijs ben ik mij bewust van de verschillende leerstrategieën die het leerproces van een leerling kan ondersteunen.
