I am an approved primary school teacher specialised in tutoring math, English, Australian Naplan and Opportunity Class subjects. Through my tutoring lessons, I strive to engage students and help support them in their learning by adopting a social based teaching and learning strategy. This means that students can learn in an uninterrupted and relaxed environment, free from stress and where they can take risks to improve their learning. However, keeping students challenged is also important. During my lessons, I also strive to keep students challenged but not overwhelmed through periodic quizzes to assess their performance and achievements as well as provide progress report to students for reflection and feedback time at the end of lessons so to allow learning to be solidified.
