I am a Qualified Teacher with a First-Class Honours in Biomedical Science. My experience as a Qualified Primary School teacher and as a private tutor has given me direct experience of school exams, different learning styles, and the current curriculum. I have developed a range of effective teaching skills over the years which have led to exceptional results. These include: boosting student confidence, unravelling exam questions, tackling exam techniques and misconceptions.I am a patient and attentive tutor able to get the best out of all ability levels - I work on developing the confidence of the student as well as the knowledge itself. I consistently monitor my students’ progress and tailor our lesson progression to their learning needs. I focus strongly on “mastery learning”, which means we focus on why and how certain concepts work, leading to 100% understanding and success. I specialise in Biology, Science and Maths.
