I am a professional violin, performer, recording artist, pianist and singer with 36 years experience on my instruments and 25 years experience as a music teacher. I am passionate about giving students an excellent technical foundation, a deep understanding of musical expression and beauty as well as a balanced and sustainable approach to practicing so as to instill a lifelong love of the instrument. My styles range from classical, of which I studied through conservatory on violin, rock music, pop, electronica and original songwriting composition. Students will learn the fundamentals of their instrument thoroughly, will develop a deep appreciation for their own ability to excel and persevere as well as an approach to life through music which values discipline, self love, imagination and empowerment.
