Hey My name is Antonia, I come from Colombia and I am a Spanish tutor. In my classes, I always make sure that they are a perfect fit for each student. Therefore, I try to match every tutoring with the needs and interests of each individual student. After knowing the student's level of Spanish, I try to get to know my student better as well, to understand what kind of approach would work with him and what resources he finds interesting to keep him busy with the class. In my classes, I like to use resources that avoid monotony, such as songs, board games, films, and series that the student likes to enjoy. This has always made the student interested in the subject as he doesn't just have to memorize it. I also try to avoid taking Spanish classes as a burden or cause of stress for the student, but rather an opportunity to relax and entertain while learning a new language. I find it very important to have a close and trusting relationship with the student, as this creates a comfortable environment for both of us that makes learning easier.
