La prepa m’a permis d’apprendre de réelles méthodes de travail et de développer une condition mentale permettant de gérer la pression des concours et de ses aléas.
Je prends vraiment en compte les objectifs, la personnalité et le niveau de mes élèves. On s’assure dans un premier temps que le cours est COMPRIS (très important, « appris » n’est pas « compris ».) Puis on résout ensemble de nombreux exercices adaptés pour développer les stratégies et réflexes à avoir pour la résolution. Enfin, on analyse des sujets de concours (ou de bac pour les lycéens) ensemble pour comprendre leur mécanisme et leurs attentes pour être plus efficace le jour du concours.
L’ambiance de mes cours est légère, sans prise de tête, l’objectif est que l’élève ait envie de venir en cours et sorte en étant devenu meilleur. Je ne crois pas du tout que les meilleures écoles soient réservées à ceux ayant un "QI supérieur" ou à ceux ayant préparé les concours depuis le collège. On peut bâtir quelque chose d’énorme pendant ses années de prepa tant que la volonté et les méthodes adaptées sont la. Au delà d’être un professeur, je garantis de plus un soutien mental lors des coups durs de la prepa et de la vie étudiante en général car une grande partie de la réussite se fait avant tout dans la tête.

My journey

After completing my French Baccalaureate at the Lycée Français de Toronto, in Canada, I studied aerospace engineering for two years at the Toronto Metropolitan University (English speaking) before returning to my home country (which I missed so much) to continue my studies. I am now continuing my studies in the same direction at an engineering school in Paris.

My international background has allowed me to develop a solid mastery of mathematics and science in an English-speaking environment, as well as a great ability to adapt. Today, I offer math lessons for middle and high school students to help them progress and succeed in this sometimes demanding subject (I myself was not good at middle school 😉).

In addition to my knowledge of science, I have acquired teaching skills through several teaching experiences, including when I was in Canada. I adapt my courses to the specific needs of each student, providing personalized follow-up to reinforce the foundations, fill gaps, and deepen knowledge.
