About Me

When I was five years old, I traveled to Africa and became fascinated by all the different languages and dialects of that beautiful continent. My polyglot life at home with my French mother, my Portuguese father, and a black and white television showing primarily American and British movies in the original version every evening. And, of course, I shouldn't forget to mention my dear Belgian grandmother from Flanders, who lived through the second world war learning German as perfectly as possible. My journey through Western Europe started a few months after my 18th birthday when I got to know Spain, France, Germany, and Denmark. It was in Denmark that I got my Danish language...

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. For adults, I offer online "Free Talk" classes. These classes are very popular and are ok for any age. I currently have a group class of people aged 60s to 80s. If you want to talk about daily life, news, hobbies, traveling, etc. and enjoy speaking English, then this is a good class to do it. Usually a 1-hour class is best as it gives plenty of time. If a shorter, or longer, class is better for you I can do that too. Just ask :)
