I am a professionally trained Classical violinist with a passion for teaching people of all ages how to play the violin in a way that creates a beautiful sound and as little physical tension as possible. I am happy to teach any type of music that you are interested in learning, while working on the basics of violin playing (such as technique), so that you can play whatever genre you like better. I want to work on what will keep you engaged while still creating a strong technical foundation. However, if you are a beginner, then I generally begin with the Suzuki violin books. I can help teach you how to practice effectively, how to improve quickly and what to prioritize for a more beautiful sound and more comfort playing the instrument.
