Hello Students,

I am currently a third year PhD student in St. John's University, New York. I have been tutoring high school and college students since 2012 and have a great flair for teaching. My teaching style involves thought process and application oriented teaching which focuses on making the student think for themselves and reach to the solution. I explain using practical examples and analogies which further assists students to grasp difficult concepts. Understanding the concepts and being able to apply them is my prime focus.

In my academic career, I have been blessed to have amazing teachers who made science and math extremely fun and intriguing to me and I aim to do the same to my students. Being a PhD student in Pharmacology, I have been trained in all aspects of science and practically apply them during my daily research. I have always been a bright student and have an innate flair for explaining scientific concepts to an audience. Teaching science and math in a fun way makes my classes all the more interesting to my students. My students give me excellent reviews and often tag me as highly recommended and they see a great improvement in their grades.

I just finished my second year at CentraleSupélec. This year, I am doing a double degree with Columbia University in New York for 18 months. Former student of Ginette (Lycée Sainte-Geneviève in Versailles) in PCSI then PC *, I was selected to ensure the physics colles in this same high school with a PCSI class throughout the year.

J'ai obtenu mon baccalauréat scientifique en 2020 avec 20,13 de moyenne. Après 2 années de classes préparatoires, j'ai intégré HEC en 2022 à la 22ème place. J'ai également validé une licence de philosophie à la Sorbonne en parallèle. Je consacrerai ma dernière année d'études à la préparation du concours de l'ENA (devenue INSP). Je suis à NY pour un stage au Conseil de sécurité de l'ONU, après de la Mission française, et j'aimerais, face au coût de la vie, pouvoir mettre mon savoir à profit.

- Quelles sont mes compétences en fait d'enseignement ?

D'abord, j'ai été "colleur" (examinateur oral) ces deux dernières années en classes préparatoires HEC en Histoire/Géographie ainsi qu'en Mathématiques grâce à la confiance du Lycée Saint-Louis à Paris (75 006) : j'ai donc une certaine expérience de l'enseignement. Puis, mes méthodes pédagogiques en cours particuliers ne sont plus à prouver : j'ai pu accompagner de nombreux étudiants vers la réussite aux concours à HEC avec des notes exceptionnelles (16 en Histoire pour Lisa, 18 et 17 en français pour Armelle et Alexandre) alors que ces étudiants étaient a priori en difficulté. Rigueur et confiance en soi sont mes maîtres-mots !

I am a student in France at a leading engineering school: the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées. I was able to join this school after 2 years of scientific preparatory classes in Paris and an advanced scientific curriculum.
