revise or practise your French /

I am a qualified and experienced Language teacher (Spanish and French). I am French from Paris and graduated from the university La Sorbonne in 2000. I started my caree by teaching in two preparatory schools in England: Godstowe and Cothill (both near Oxford). I then taught in two universities: Brookes university (Oxford), the language Centre of university of Oxford. I am currently teaching the IB where I greatly enjoy helping students in their two years of study. In my extra time, I love teachig online lessons and at the moment I have two little girls. One of them prepare the Prim DELF. In addition, during two years, I taught French A to a student who was in Portugal and needed private tuition to help him in his revision.
The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first lesson is devoted to know the student's strenghts and weaknesses. The aim is to adapt my lessons to the students'needs. I beleive each student is different and I make sure I give a good plan, good ressources, and help and reassure the student.
I have a perfect knowledge of different exams and different ressources to use. I can help for the oral exams (GCSE, French B/Spanish B, French A). The most important for me is to help the student to be organised and to have strategies. I am passionate and make sure my students make good progress and enjoy learning too.
I provide my private lessons remotely (online via internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive whiteboard and I share powerpoints. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer to take advantage of it.

For me teaching means interacting, communicating and helping. It is important to reassure the student, but also give him/her advice, how to make progress.

I specialise in classes in French B and French A as I prepare and equip students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. The course help students to gain in confidence (oral exams), but make sure you improve your grammar and enrich your vocabulary. During the lessons we practise French with role-plays and oral activities and with photos (as in the exam).
I have 14 years of teaching experience, so I also taught classes in French for GCSE and A-level in a college.
If you are a beginner, don’t worry, I would be pleased to help you too and I love sharing my culture. In part the lessons sought to enhance awareness of the culture and traditions of French speaking societies.
