My name is Venesa, I'm a British national based in The Hague. I completed my Bachelor of Laws in London, and my Master of Laws at Leiden University in Public International Law.

Academia requires taking many exams and writing an abundance of essays. If you need someone to support you with the technical aspects of structuring and writing academic papers, I have acquired many years of tutoring students from all ages in their writing. This ranges creating writing pieces, English and legal essays and university thesis planning. Since my academic background is international law, I would be more than happy to assist you with substantive work too in that field.

Hello! My name is Sara and I have tutored a lot of students in my past, starting from when I was even just in high school! I believe I am a good teacher of math but am also exceptional at CV checks or helping with motivational essays and essay writing in general so would be happy to help in that area aswell. For my bachelors I pursued an aerospace engineering degree and am currently pursuing a masters in Cognitive Robotics. I am passionate about both learning and teaching because I have always believed education is the strongest tool. I am not somebody who understands things immediately so when I myself was learning in younger classes and in school, I always had a lot of questions and patiently worked through them. I think this kind of mentality is important when tutoring or mentoring somebody as opposed to criticizing mistakes. In my opinion, the more questions you ask, the better you understand!

My teaching method usually includes introducing new theories and topics during our live sessions together and then assigning a few exercises or some homework for you to work on after the class on your own. In the next class, we will then go through your homework and clarify any questions you have. Again the aim is not that I am expecting a 100% on the homework (this could also be what your school gives you every week), but it's so we can work together on what you get stuck on!

I grew up in-between Mexico and the Netherlands and completed a bilingual education in English and Spanish. I passed my GCSE examinations after Grade 10 and attained a final score of 42/45 points in the IB in 2021. After graduating from a United World College, I move to The Hague to study at Leiden University, where I obtained a BA in International Law (summa cum laude).

I started tutoring at 14, but only began doing it regularly four years later at the IB level. My professional experience has also included college-level student assistantships. My approach to learning is influenced by my own diverse background. I have studied under different systems in the Mexico, the Netherlands and France, which allowed me to experiment with various learning methods and discover what works and what doesn't. When it comes to the IB, I especially understand how to structure written assignments (including IAs, TOK essay and the EE) and have several tips to achieve the highest results.
