My Swahili and English classes are customized to every student's needs. This is to prevent wasting time and money on those who know more than the second language basics. Beginner level involves learning the basics: alphabets and phonetics, pronunciation of vowels and consonants, greetings, family members, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, demonstratives, personal pronouns, basic nouns, short dialogue, work-related lexicon, travel-related lexicon, hotel-related lexicon and other social -related lexicon. The intermediate level involves advancing the basics of grammar (Swahili/English) specific to parts of speech. Conversational lessons focus on topics related to the student's work, family, or social environment. The same applies to the advanced levels. At the end of my lessons, you earn a Second Language certificate ascertaining the level you have managed to achieve as assessed by me.
