This course introduces students to the basics of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. Students develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while learning fundamental vocabulary and grammar. Emphasis is placed on communication in everyday situations and on gaining cultural awareness of the Spanish-speaking world.
