I am a university researcher and instructor with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. I am able to provide one-on-one guidance for a range of topics in mathematics (algebra, geometry, calculus, discrete math, functions and modeling), natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology), and engineering (fluid dynamics, applied programming, signal analysis, optimization). My typical teaching strategy follows three steps: 1) developing an understanding of the subject theory 2) introducing real-world applications of the theory 3) repeating exercises related fundamental concepts and applications I am also able to help students prepare for a range of (pre) university exams.

Communicating properly in English is no longer an option but an expectation in academic and professional life. I am a native English speaker (American) with a Ph.D. and prior teaching experience in both individual and group scenarios, and my goal with this course is to help others improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in the English language. Approaching the language with native experience, I can provide guidance related to both educational and business English and can cover broad usage including comprehension, conversation, grammar, and situational skills. I am also able to help improve general language skills (e.g. accent training) and can provide extensive help and instruction regarding SAT, GRE, MCAT, EPSO, IELTS, and TOEFL exams.
