Hallo iedereen. Mijn naam is Peter en ik geef de afgelopen 8 jaar Engelse les in Polen, China, Vietnam en Thailand. Op dit moment ben ik mijn master aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam aan het afronden; mijn hoofdvak is Engels onderwijs. Door de jaren heen dat ik met studenten over de hele wereld heb gewerkt, heb ik mijn eigen lesmethode ontwikkeld, die gebaseerd is op prestaties op het gebied van de neurolinguïstiek. Ik heb TEFL-, BLS- en British Council-certificaten. Voordat je besluit deze geweldige reis met mij te maken, zorg ervoor dat je echt wilt leren en dat je er de tijd voor hebt. Er is geen leermethode die geen systematisch werk vereist, en ik wil echt dat al mijn studenten slagen; het is een kwestie van mijn persoonlijke ambitie. Over de methode: naast de visuele, auditieve en kinesthetische elementen die typisch zijn voor NLP (Neurolinguïstisch Programmeren), ontwerp ik oefeningen op een manier waarin we ons geheugen en intelligentievermogen trainen. Ik geef alleen lessen in het Engels. Wees daar niet bang voor. Ik heb dit al talloze keren gedaan en Nederlands is echt niet nodig. Ik doe alleen huisbezoeken in Amsterdam West.

Ik ben geboren in Italië, maar de laatste twee jaar van mijn leven heb ik de wereld rondgereisd, vooral in Midden- en Zuid-Amerika en het Midden-Oosten, op afstand gereisd en gewerkt.
Ik ben een professionele docente met 6 jaar ervaring. Ik werkte aan de vertaling van medische en juridische artikelen, panelen in het glasmuseum in Venetië en werkte als tolk aan het hof van Venetië.
Ik heb een diploma in talen, ik ben gecertificeerd in internationaal recht en ik ben een language coach. Language coach houdt in dat ik je niet alleen een taal leer, maar ook hoe nieuwe talen te leren!

Mijn hobby is mijn grootste passie is het leren van andere talen, daarom kan ik uit mijn ervaring veel van de problemen begrijpen die verband houden met het leren van een vreemde taal.

I am tutoring university students and adults in English and help them prepare for any test they might have to take (for example, a university test that is required to go in exchange). Among the official English test, I am qualified to help prepare students for the IELTS test.

There isn't a better way to teach your child a new language than through playing. My job is to introduce the English, French, or Arabic language while your child is discovering and learning to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children have more capacity to develop linguistic, social, and communication skills, and gain the self-confidence they need.
My job is to play with the child while using the new language vocabulary; as an example, we can play the Zoo game and learn the names of the animals, the noise they make, the food they consume, and where they live in the wild.
While we play, we can use toys, pictures, songs, videos, and house objects such as fruits and vegetables.
We can play inside or outside in a safe environment.
I have a program that I developed to help my child learn a language and have fun at the same time. It consists of games, reading books, and role-playing in different themes such as ( Food, Animals, Numbers, Alphabet, Colors, Geography, Nature, Technology, Outfits... )
This program can be discussed and edited by the parent according to their child's needs and level.

1. What is the TOEIC?

The TOEIC test is one of the most widely used English-language tests in the world, with more than 14,000 organizations and universities in more than 160 countries relying on TOEIC scores to make important decisions.

3. What is the TOEIC used for?

The TOEIC is used to help organisations to:
• Select, hire, and/or promote their employees based on their level of English
• Select employees with adequate English language skills to participate in English language programs or training.
• Standardize the level of English language proficiency within the company.
Universities and other higher education institutions use this test to:
• Accept prospective students into their English-speaking undergraduate and graduate programs
• Measure their students’ progress
• Issue an internationally recognized English language certificate to their students.

4. How can I help you?

• I will evaluate your English proficiency level
• I will introduce you to the format and structure of the test: remember, knowing the type of tasks is half the battle!
• I will provide you with a lot of exercises and materials, and we will practice a lot
• Depending on your needs, we can focus on the Listening and Reading Test, the Speaking and Writing Tests, or both
• During the preparation, if you get to an area that is going harder, then we will do more exercises related to it or them (grammar, pronunciation, listening comprehension).

Bonjour,

I'm of mixed French and Polish origins and I've been living in Paris for many years. I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums. Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). Learning languages are always more fun when involving an interaction based on personal interests! That's why I could take a more conventional approach to teaching but I prefer an interactive engaging type of class. We can start with basic daily life based conversations to delving into more detailed and specific contexts, to a level where any types of topics can be covered.
I would encourage students and myself to only converse in the language that is being taught. But I could still provide explanation and guidance in either Korean or English!
