I teach both violin and viola , beginners to advanced level. I love sharing my passion for music and playing a string

instrument and helping my students to be inspired and find the best way to express themselves through music.

The lessons would be carefully crafted and help you prepare for auditions, advance your technique, learn your

favorite pieces and overall become a better musician.

I truly believe that anyone can learn to play a musical instrument .” Music is for everyone” is what inspires my teaching philosophy. I am a passionate person and believe that anything can be accomplished when passion combined with practicing and determination.

I love music, I learn music, and therefore I dedicate my career to teaching and performing music. I love teaching others how to play the violin.In my teaching career, fortunately, I have been rewarded by the outstanding performances of my students and the life-long relationships they have maintained with the knowledge they have learned in and out of our lessons. I strive to find music and various pieces that each student is passionate about.

Bulgarian violist Iva , began her musical studies at the age of 4 and graduated the National Musical School “Lyubomir Pipkov” where she studied viola in the class of Stefan Jilkov. Iva earned a BM and AD in viola performance from Texas Christian University and a MM in performance from Southern Methodist University
Iva is an active teacher and performer and has appeared in festivals such as Ohio Light Opera, AIMS in Graz, Castleton Festival, Brevard Music Center and Music in the Mountains.As an orchestra musician, Iva has performed with Irving Symphony, San Angelo Symphony, Plano Symphony, Waco Symphony and Oddysseus Chamber Orchestra among others.
Since 2016, Iva is a Teaching Artist at the El Sistema inspired program B Sharp Youth Music, based in Fort Worth, which focuses on achieving social change through music and maintains a private violin/viola studio.

Viola/Violin for all levels and ages.

I graduated from Viola at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels, and also as a music Professor for all levels from the Conservatory of Buenos Aires (Argentina), specialized in viola.I have experience teaching music to kids through games, in school orchestras or privately. I also teach adults, adjusting the class to their interests and needs. During the lessons, the student will also learn music theory integrated with the instrument class.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam).
I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

I teach students of all ages and levels.
I have fifteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies).

In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life.
I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University.
Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone.

Professional violin and viola teacher based in Berlin, teaching in person at students' location or online, in English, German or Russian.

As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of at all levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ workshops in London and was an assistant on the Primary Arpeggione viola course and at the Springgrove music competition. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I participated in their conferences across Europe.

I have prepared students for music exams at all levels, working with them on music theory, aural and sight reading skills, and regularly accompany students on the piano.

As a performing musician, I appear as a soloist and chamber musician internationally, recently including at the ‘Gstaad Menuhin’, ‘Schiermonnikoog’ and 'Rome Chamber Music' festivals. I have participated in several international competitions, notably receiving the Barbirolli prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition 2019, 1st prize at the Małopolska competition, and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

I hold a masters degree with first class honours from the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, and Bachelors with the same distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London. I attended the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove on four occasions and have collaborated with composers Garth Knox, Vasilis Alevizos and Thomas Jones on their new works, with performances in London and at the Agora Music Festival in Luxembourg.

As a chamber musician I have played with the 12, Seida and 4|12 ensembles, as well as with musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic and clarinettist Matthew Hunt at HellensMusic festival, with Tabea Zimmermann at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, with Claudio Martínez Mehner and Christoph Poppen in Santander, and with members of the ARC ensemble at the Music of Exile Festival in Toronto, Canada, amongst others.

I was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2018, and a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain from 2014-2015, appearing on BBC Radio 3 broadcasts and a televised BBC Prom, as well as being involved in the NYO outreach programme ‘inspire’ in schools across London, including workshops and interactive performances at the Royal Festival Hall.

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching the violin for 10 years, while continuing my activity as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic.

Hello !

My name is Camille, I'm 26 years old and I grew up in France, where I completed my violin training with soloist Marie Cantagrill. I then obtained my Bachelor's degree at the University of Arts in Graz (Austria), and I also studied for a year at the Academy of Music in Krakow with Professor Wojciech Koprowski.

Currently, I am continuing my studies in violin pedagogy (IGP – instrumental and vocal pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).

Thanks to my experience with teachers from various countries, I have acquired a lot of knowledge in pedagogy, study techniques, musicality, etc., which I would love to share with you!

For me, it is essential to cultivate the pleasure of playing and to work on technique in the service of music.

I offer violin lessons for all ages and levels, in English or in French.

I believe in the importance of flexibility, that my job as a teacher is not to be stuck in my ways or methods but to be open to what you as an individual are seeking. I'd happy to find out what that is.

You could be a complete beginner who fell in love with the violin, or a good intermediate player who wishes to come back to the violin, or someone needing some help to prepare for an audition, or maybe you only want to play a specific type of music... In all cases, we could make it work.

I am also convinced that the relationship one has with the violin should be built out of physical ease and love for music. We often hear that the violin is a very difficult instrument, and although that is true to some extent, it doesn't need to be. I truly believe in the importance of physical exploration with the instrument to find what works best for you.

Finally, my specialization in early music (baroque and classical periods) gives me a unique approach on the classical repertoire, the evolution of musical style, and different technical insights. This background allowed me to dwell deeper in certain subtleties such as ornamentation, articulation, just intonation and sound production (I personally play on gut strings).

I also offer music theory lessons.

If you are more advanced and interested specifically in baroque violin lessons, that is of course also possible.
