Originally self taught Martina later studied accordion with Philippe Piquot whilst living in Paris and holds a teacher’s Diploma (LTCL) in music education (Trinity College London).

Martina has many years of experience in teaching the piano-accordion to students of all ages. It is important to her to meet the needs of the individual student. This can range from preparation for graded exams to helping arranging for accordion or just having fun exploring this versatile instrument. The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

I offer personal harmonica lessons in a variety of genres.
The content is entirely based on your interests and is very much oriented towards actual playing and improvising.
With me you can learn everything you need for the blues harp. From the first notes, replaying your favorite songs and special techniques to fluid improvisation and playing together with other musicians.
I'm also happy to convey a solid understanding of the music theory behind the harmonica, but if you don't feel like learning theory, that's no problem for me.

1) THE COURSES

After a 15-minute phone call, the first lesson lasts 1 hour 15 minutes + 15 minutes = 30 minutes free!

The following lessons last 1 hour and 15 minutes because 1 hour is too short for the lesson to be complete and enjoyable :)

My goal is to make you self-reliant while giving you as few lessons as possible.

Lessons take place in my home studio in Bordeaux or via video call using Google Meet and Listento (a high-quality, latency-free audio streaming plugin that I pay for for my students). I can also come to your home (+€10).

First lesson = Setting up and getting started with the software
After 3 lessons = You know the software and the basic concepts
After 5 lessons = You start to become independent**
After 10 lessons = You know how to produce a complete track and understand the basics of mixing and mastering** (10 lessons purchased = one lesson free)

2) THE TOOLS

In DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) production, you will need headphones and a computer with sufficient performance to create your music (feel free to ask me if you have any questions).

Whether using Ableton or other software (Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio...), the courses are aimed at beginners wishing to get started, intermediate users wishing to consolidate their skills, and advanced users wishing to refine their technique!
