if you have already gained some experience writing and performing but would like to hone your skills, I can also help with that too

my poetry and spoken word classes will teach you to write and perform poetry at a high level. My classes will not only engage in practical skills to improve oration but also language and writing skills. Moreover I am experienced in tutoring for English language and literature to a GCSE level

Preview the poem by reading the title and paying attention to the poem's form: shape on the page, stanzas, number of lines and ending punctuation. Read poem aloud several times to hear rhyme, rhythm, and the overall sound of the poem. This makes it easier to understand the poem.
Inferring is how we enter into those holes and spaces as we read. When we infer, we figure out what the author might have meant when information isn’t explicitly stated. In Strategies That Work, we make inferences by combining our background knowledge with clues from the words on the page.
Novels tend to be easy to read. You can sit down and become absorbed by a book for an hour or more. Poems, on the other hand, typically require slow and careful study to glean their full meaning. The lines of a poem tend to be more complex, more “packed with meaning,” than lines of text in other types of literature.

I am a recent graduate who is now studying a master's in marketing. I will be offering tutoring for English Language and English Literature for those who are in KS1 all the way up to GCSE level and ESL also.

My class will include the following:
Going over the 4 main categories which includes: Reading, writing, speaking and listening
Poetry, fiction and creative writing
Improving basic level of English for Adults
Preparing students for exam periods

Depending on the students grade and skill level, I will be sure to tailor my classes accordingly.

In this French literature tutoring class, we will focus on preparing for exams like the French baccalaureate, A-levels, CECRL, and other similar exams. We will delve into the world of French literature and explore various authors, periods, and genres, while also developing critical analysis and essay-writing skills.

Throughout the class, we will analyze and interpret literary texts, including novels, plays, poems, and essays, as well as studying the cultural and historical contexts in which they were written. We will also work on developing your writing and oral skills, which are essential for succeeding in literature exams.

By the end of the class, you will have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of French literature, as well as the ability to analyze literary texts and write compelling essays. You will also have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in exams like the French baccalaureate, A-levels, CECRL, and beyond.
