Private online maths tutoring.

I am a homeschooling mum of three girls. I am currently offering one-on-one private tutoring lessons in Maths, Accounting, Economics and other business related subjects for primary and high school students as well as certain subjects for university and other tertiary courses.
Prior to full time homeschooling, I ran a business called Blooms Tutors. For 6 years the business ran very successfully employing over 40 tutors throughout Brisbane and Ipswich, and a couple on the Gold and Sunshine coasts.
I personally tutored for over 12 years in 2 countries, Australia and South Africa. The business was eventually sold to a Japanese investor when I moved full time into homeschooling and sadly is no longer in operation.
I have tutored at least 100 students across every grade from prep through to year 12 within the Queensland system, from both state and private schools and am familiar with a large number of schools in the west Brisbane and Ipswich regions. Over 6000 hours of teaching experience. I also have experience tutoring accounting and business subjects at the tertiary level, particularly with UQ and USQ students.I have a Bachelor of Commerce and an Honours degree in Accounting.
I love teaching, and especially a one-on-one approach helping students overcome challenging topics and negative beliefs about their ability to learn and understand. My approach is very flexible and I try to fit in with each student’s unique needs. Many of my past students have stayed with me for their full high school term having weekly sessions through to the end of year 12.
All sessions held online via Zoom or Google Meet
I hold a current blue card (working with children check in QLD)

Hi, my name is Caroline. Homeschooling mum of three girls ranging from prep to year 7. I have over 6000 hours of private one-on-one tutoring experience over the last 15 years in maths, accounting, economics and other business related subjects. My tutoring experience is mainly in Australia, though I did 3 years part-time in South Africa as well.
I love the process of individual one-on-one tutoring and watching students gain confidence and understanding of their subjects. I also have a passion for adult students doing business related courses to further their work opportunities. I worked as an auditor for 3 years but found my passion in teaching and mentoring, not in a classroom, but on an individual level where I can build relationships with my students and their families.
I’m currently offering online sessions which I find comfortable and flexible to meet most people’s needs. I am comfortable with students of any age group.
