Hello! My name is Maddison and I'm an American from California looking to share my passion for the English language and cultural exchange in Amsterdam. As a native English speaker with a Bachelor's in sociology and cultural studies, I'm excited to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and help them improve their English skills.

In my studies, I developed a strong focus on writing and cross-cultural communication. I enjoy breaking down complex topics, providing constructive feedback, and inspiring creative expression. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from high school and went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During my time at UCSB, I developed a strong foundation in cultural studies, cross-cultural communication, and qualitative research methods. My coursework and extracurricular activities gave me unique insights into how language, identity, and interpersonal dynamics intersect across different societies.
