During the meetings we will work on three well distinguished areas: technique, improvisation and the interpretation of written pieces. In our first encounters, we will establish clear goals, such as securing a repertoire and/or developing specific skills. According to the each musician's needs and intentions, we will discuss topics of music theory, practice ear training and even compose new pieces. Over the years, I have collected and created a broad variety of materials and exercises and am constantly gathering and tailoring new ones for the attendants. My approach goes beyond the limitations of musical styles. Whether its European Classical, mainstream Pop, Indie Rock, a Latin-American Folk genre or Jazz, all music can be well performed when it is adequately approached and researched.
