I studied History through high school, gaining knowledge of major eras (Ancient, Medieval, Modern), key events, historical figures, and the causes and consequences of events. I also developed skills in analysing sources and understanding how the past influences the present. I use visual maps often to help students see spatial relationships and context, making history more concrete and memorable. I teach students of all ages, from children through to adults, and I always ensure that I provide summaries at the end of lessons so that key points are clear and retained.
