This session is great for runners, cyclists and people with Jobs which require to be in sitting or standing positions for long hours. The Practice starts with grounding ourselves, becoming aware of self and warming up our body. Once the body is ready, we work on asanas consisting of stretches, twists, bends, strengthening and flexibility. The postures are corrected for alignments, and benefits are explained, so one consciously practises the asanas. The practice ends with Pranayams (breathing techniques) suitable for the weather/day and highly relaxing guided Shavasana, making it a perfect start for the day!
The Yoga session will be Holistic in nature. Based on your health and strengths, we will start the session synchronising with breathwork and awareness. We will also work with visualization of Light as we move through postures, to heighten awareness. Pranayam or breathing techniques suitable for you, based on the day will be practised, which helps in calming of nerves. Finally we end the session with meditation and Shavasana(Lying down posture) to reap the benefits of the session. . Postures may be done using props or on chair if necessary based on individuals needs.
