Welcome! I'm pleased to provide you with a simple explanation of pulse locations in the body, a fundamental skill in nursing. A pulse is the wave you feel in an artery as blood rushes from the heart. Measuring your pulse helps assess heart and circulatory health. Here are the most important places where you can measure your pulse: Radial Artery: On the thumb side of the wrist. This is the most common and easiest place to measure the pulse. Brachial Artery: In the inner crease of the elbow, on the body side. Primarily used to measure blood pressure, it can also be used to measure the pulse in infants. Carotid Artery: On either side of the neck, below the jaw. Used in emergencies to quickly assess the pulse, but care should be taken to avoid excessive pressure. Femoral Artery: In the groin area. Used in critical situations when the pulse cannot be felt elsewhere. Temporal Artery: On either side of the head (in the temple area). Easily felt in children. Dorsalis Pedis Artery: On the top of the foot. Used to assess circulation in the lower extremities. Popliteal Artery Artery) Behind the knee. It may be difficult to feel and is used to assess blood circulation in the leg. Tips when measuring the pulse: • Use the tips of your index and middle fingers to gently press on the artery. • Do not use your thumb, as it has its own pulse that may interfere with the measurement. • Count the pulses for 30 seconds and then multiply the result by 2 to get the number of beats per minute, or count for a full minute for the most accurate reading.

Hi! Have you been studying Spanish for a long time and think it's time to practice? Do you know Spanish grammar but don't have any native-speaking friends to practice with? Great, I'm here to help! 👋🏻 My name is Susana, and I'm from Acapulco, Mexico. I currently live in Greece, where I've been teaching Spanish for about five years. Spanish is my native language. 👨‍🏫💻 I offer conversation classes for adults, where we can talk about any topic that interests you. 👨‍🏫 My classes are designed to reinforce what you've studied and help you practice or resolve any questions you might have about this beautiful language. Are you looking for a teacher who doesn't speak too fast and speaks clearly? I understand my students' needs, and I promise to speak clearly and at a moderate pace so you can strengthen your listening comprehension. I love working with senior citizens, people around sixty years old and up. I consider myself a patient person, and I also learn a lot from them. Do you prefer to learn Spanish with the help of a book? Great! I have hundreds of digital books that we can look at together, books for levels A1, A2, B1, and B2, so in the end, you decide which is the best option for learning this beautiful language. Do you like doing homework after class and would you like your teacher to correct it after your lesson? Perfect! I promise to correct your homework so I can understand which grammar is best for you and help you practice it more often. Do you like doing interactive online exercises? I have many interactive exercises that will help you practice grammar and vocabulary. Are you looking for a fun and friendly teacher? I think I'm one of them :) In our conversations, we'll speak a lot of Spanish. I'll teach you colloquial language and how to express yourself better. I'm sorry, unfortunately I don't work with children. Thank you for reading and clicking on my profile. See you soon!
