Je m’appelle Carmen et je suis chanteuse d’opéra. J’ai étudié au conservatoire P.I. Chaykovsky à Moscou et le célèbre conservatoire Santa Cecilia à Rome. J’ai suivi de nombreux cours de masterclass en Russie, en Italie et en Autriche avec Edda Moser, Renata Scotto, Nino Machaidze etc. J’étais aussi soliste dans la chorale du Vatican.

Depuis plusieurs années, je travaille comme professeur de chant à Bruxelles. J’offre des cours en anglais, français, russe et italien. J’enseigne aux enfants à partir de 6 ans (débutants ou plus expérimentés). J’offre une grande variété de techniques de respiration et de chant.

🎶I’m Carmen, a passionate opera singer and vocal coach trained in some of Europe’s finest vocal traditions.
With over 20 years of stage experience and 7 years of professional teaching in Brussels, I guide singers of all levels from curious beginners to advanced performers toward a healthy, expressive, and natural vocal technique.

A former soloist with the Vatican Choir, I continue to refine my craft with renowned masters such as Romualdo Savastano and Nino Machaidze, regularly participating in international masterclasses in Italy, Austria, and Belgium.

My teaching is rooted in body awareness, vocal freedom, and emotional connection to music helping each student discover their true voice and sing with confidence, ease, and authenticity.

Among the distinguished current masterclass teachers in Italy whom I admire are Marcelo Álvarez (tenor, frequent guest of Italian opera masterclasses) and Giovanni Meoni (Italian baritone and voice coach, teaching at Parma Conservatory) .

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

🎶Over the years, I have built a rich and diverse artistic and teaching career across Europe.
I teach classical and modern vocal technique in Brussels and online, working with singers of all ages and levels from passionate beginners to professional performers. My lessons focus on healthy vocal technique, body awareness, and expressive interpretation. I also prepare my students for auditions, competitions, concerts, and recordings, helping them develop stage presence and confidence.

Before dedicating myself to teaching, I performed extensively as a soloist and ensemble member across Europe.
I was the winner of the “Jeunes Talents” singing competition (Moscow, 1999), a member of the V. Loktev Ensemble (1997–2001), and later a soloist with the Vatican Choir (2008–2010).
My performance experience includes concerts and opera projects in Italy (Bracciano, Capranica, Anguillara, Orbetello, Laterano), Russia (Moscow), Armenia (Yerevan) and Belgium (Leuven) performing major works such as Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Mozart’s Requiem, as well as operatic roles like Zaide in Rossini’s Il Turco in Italia with the Tito Gobbi Association.

I also collaborated with Opera Vlaanderen in Ghent, introducing opera to children through interactive educational projects an experience that deepened my passion for teaching and artistic communication.

I teach in French, English, Russian, and Italian, and I always adapt my method to each student’s voice, goals, and artistic personality.
My students describe my teaching as warm, inspiring, and precise, and they often notice rapid progress both technically and artistically.
