I am a native Dutch carrier who has a BA in the English language and a MA in Communication Sciences.

My goal is to help students reach their goals. These goals can vary per student such as speaking more fluent Dutch or attaining B2 or C1 level of the language. During the first class, we'll discuss together what your goals are and what you want to do to reach them, e.g. homework and/or working towards a particular exam/date.

During classes we'll try to speak Dutch as much as possible, to help you get acquainted with the language. I'll also provide you with reading that fits your level for you to practice Dutch words, grammar and word order.

I've had experience with tutoring for over five years and have taught students from many different levels: extreme beginner to advanced. As I'm also experienced with working towards a goal within a particular time frame, I can also create a schedule with you to help you reach your goals efficiently.

I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher who likes to work with people.
As I have experience tutoring, I understand that sometimes the work might be difficult. In order to personalise it to your experience, I am definitely able to follow our set schedule but if something turns out to be difficult it is most often the best to elaborate the example even simpler.

I am finishing my BA English Language and Culture at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. During my bachelor's degree, I have specialised in medieval literature and have taken extra courses in communication and teaching languages.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics.

I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.
