Sound artist (MFA Konstfack) with lifelong experience of saxophone (as well as piano and clarinet) gives saxophone lessons at home. If you don't have a saxophone, we can solve it. Level: Beginner - Advanced

I have been giving private lessons to children and teenagers in Germany for 2 years. I adapt the technique to the needs of the student. The lesson lasts 45min - 1h.

The student should not feel that the music lesson is another subject they have in school, but music is more about creating a lasting bond and interest that will follow you throughout your life.

FOR ADULTS: Of course I can also teach you how to play if you just want to try it out, maybe have previous experience with other instruments or just want to learn the basics because you happen to have bought a saxophone. Being able to read music is always a plus but we can either learn that (it's not that hard) or focus on understanding harmonies/ scales and approach some improvisation techniques.

For me, music education is a multigenerational process that has not changed much in the last 100 years.

Children are taught and if the teaching is good, the child develops an interest in music. If the interest is kept alive, the child becomes a musician who then becomes a mentor/teacher.

Student -> musician -> teacher (-> student again in learning).

In my case, music followed me into an artistic career, where sound and space are my main focus.

I received classical music education, preparatory to music college. I can give beginner lessons as well as teach you for higher music education.
