My name is Robbert. A native English speaker, and a CELTA certified English teacher based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Interested in improving your English? I offer online English lessons, in-company trainings, and customisable lesson plans for groups and individuals. Are you a beginner or advanced? Do you want to improve general or business English? Lessons will focus on fluency and conversation. Grammar, vocabulary and contemporary topics will also be covered.

I am from the USA, however have been living in Amsterdam since 2007. International environments are my natural habitat. Most of my students had studied English before starting my classes. The most common qualm; they were rarely given the chance to speak! You may be able to memorise every grammar rule, but might not be able to express yourself in a business meeting or change a hotel reservation by phone. My lessons focus on fluency and real-life situations. Depending on your level and needs (general or business English), I can customise a lesson plan for you. Yes, we will study some grammar, but fluency is the main goal.

There isn't a better way to teach your child a new language than through playing. My job is to introduce the English, French, or Arabic language while your child is discovering and learning to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children have more capacity to develop linguistic, social, and communication skills, and gain the self-confidence they need.
My job is to play with the child while using the new language vocabulary; as an example, we can play the Zoo game and learn the names of the animals, the noise they make, the food they consume, and where they live in the wild.
While we play, we can use toys, pictures, songs, videos, and house objects such as fruits and vegetables.
We can play inside or outside in a safe environment.
I have a program that I developed to help my child learn a language and have fun at the same time. It consists of games, reading books, and role-playing in different themes such as ( Food, Animals, Numbers, Alphabet, Colors, Geography, Nature, Technology, Outfits... )
This program can be discussed and edited by the parent according to their child's needs and level.

I am Salem, 25 years old. I am a master graduate from The National University of Kharkiv and currently working in Amsterdam International Community School as a Lab assistant and a teacher assistant. My aim is to provide a strategic planning to help you exceed and progress in your lessons.
I am in my tutoring to explain topics and tasks, help with homework, encourage self-confidence and motivational spirit.
