Hi, I'm Caitlin, I'm a professional violinist and violin teacher. I play in orchestras and ensembles and have been teaching the violin as well for the past two years. I learned how to teach violin from the best and will be able to guide you or your child towards a good level of playing. If you are at a more advanced level I can help you develop musically, overcome hurdles and enhance the joy of playing as well as prepare for conservatoire studies. Let's begin and discover the joy of playing the violin!

Please arrange a violin and bow with shoulder rest in the right size before the lessons begin. There are some violin shops that will be able to help you. If you need any advice, please do not hesitate to contact me.

You can come to me for violin lessons, folklore, jazz (theory), improvisation techniques and ensemble coaching.
Together we will look for your music and creativity. I make a lot of use of (together) playing and improvisation, technique is a guide for what you want to learn.
Getting to know the violin for young and old, playing with Balkan ornaments, improvising by ear or deepening in harmony or chord schemes, these are all possible subjects in my lessons.
My lessons are 30 or 45 minutes (not strict).

My name is Mar and I am a 26-year-old professional pianist (with pedagogical training) graduated from the master degree in Classical Piano Performance as soloist at the Utrecht Conservatory, now studying a second master in Piano Performance in Rotterdam, Codarts.
I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.
