Het doel van mijn lessen is dat je in de toekomst onder elke omstandigheid open, zelfverzekerd, met plezier en vol fantasie en aanbod leer spelen en met een tekst leert omgaan. Of je nou in een voorstelling speelt, een lied moet zingen, op een set staat of auditie doet.

Ik hanteer niet één specifieke techniek of methode; ik geloof dat je als performer je eigen, op maat gemaakte gereedschapskist met verschillende tools moet samenstellen om jouw unieke talent te ondersteunen. Daar gaan wij samen aan werken. Door deze insteek zijn de lessen geschikt voor ieder niveau!

De tekst is in mijn les het uitgangspunt. Ik werk met bestaande monologen, dialogen, liedjes, filmscènes, sketches etc. Je mag zelf materiaal aandragen of ik kies het voor je uit. We kunnen ook aan specifieke audities/selftapes of optredens werken; alles is mogelijk.

Mijn naam is David, ik ben 32 jaar, woon in Amsterdam en ben sinds 2015 werkzaam als acteur en zanger. Ik geef graag les omdat ik het leuk vind om over acteren te praten en kennis uit te wisselen.

Ik heb de Amsteramse Toneelschool en Kleinkunstacademie afgerond in 2015. Daar ben ik heel allround opgeleid en heb daardoor kennis op veel verschillende gebieden.

Ik ben zelf professioneel acteur en heb praktijkervaring. Na mijn opleiding heb ik bij verschillende gerenommeerde toneelgezelschappen gewerkt, o.a. bij het Noord Nederlands Toneel, het Zuidelijk Toneel, Jeugdtheater Sonnevanck, het Amsterdamse BosTheater, Theater Rast, Frascati en Bellevue Lunchtheater. Ook ben ik te zien (geweest) in muziektheatervoorstellingen van o.a. Ruut Weissman en Spinvis en op televisie (o.a. Treurteevee, Klokhuis).

You will learn the key fundamental aspects of breath and body alignment techniques, and will be given vocal exercises that can help you to achieve your goals. We will focus on getting rid of unnecessary muscle tension, and finding a released and projected sound.

I have sung at houses such as the Hamburg State opera, English National Opera London, Semperoper Dresden, Opernhaus Zürich, Gran Teatre Liceu Barcelona, Dutch National Opera, Salzburg, Rome in leading roles such as Carmen, Isabella, Adalgisa, Ariodante, Orfeo, Radamisto, Cenerentola, Hermia. I also joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera for thé first time in 2020.

Hay dos opciones que te enseñe a bailar el genero que vas a bailar+ la coreo o que solo te enseñe la coreo a ejecutar, tu decides.

Vaak als je een taal wilt leren, kan dat in het begin aanvoelen als een grote "moet": nieuwe woorden, nog meer grammaticaregels...

In mijn lessen probeer ik dat helemaal om te draaien. (Vlaams) Nederlands wordt iets dat je gebruikt: in echte gesprekken, op je werk, in de klas, in het dagelijks leven. Of je nu kind, tiener of volwassene bent: ik pas mijn manier van lesgeven aan aan wie jij bent en wat jij nodig hebt.

We oefenen met realistische situaties, rollenspelen en concrete voorbeelden, zodat je niet alleen leert over de taal, maar ze ook echt begint te spreken.

Van mij mag je structuur en duidelijkheid verwachten, maar ook rust en ruimte om fouten te maken. Ik werk doelgericht — als we een doel afspreken, gaan we daar stap voor stap naartoe. Tegelijk zorg ik voor een veilige sfeer waarin je durft proberen.

Hello, my name is Virgílio.
I am a Brazilian lyric tenor, pianist and music teacher specializing in Brazilian vocal repertoire and I work as a vocal coach for singers interested in Brazilian music.

Brazilian music has unique rhythmic and expressive qualities, and learning it with a native Brazilian teacher helps singers capture the natural phrasing and pronunciation of the language. Many singers around the world love Brazilian songs but find it difficult to sing them with natural pronunciation and musical phrasing.
In these lessons, I help students develop vocal technique while learning how to interpret Brazilian repertoire such as Bossa Nova and MPB. Students may explore songs by composers such as: Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Vinicius de Moraes and others.

Students do not need to speak Portuguese to start learning Brazilian songs. Lessons gradually introduce pronunciation and meaning of the lyrics.
